He enjoys time with friends, family, and co-workers, and can frequently be found serving vanilla lattes and grilling brisket on his Traeger for guests. Little known fact: Mr. Gillquist has a passion for music that led him to join his brother, Peter, many years ago on the stage at the Performing Arts Center as the opening act for an alternative rock band, Jars of Clay, who came to Alaska in 1995. He continued his musical endeavors while his brother was still living in Alaska, and the two of them would visit clients each December, guitar in tow, and sing Christmas carols.

Mr. Gillquist’s connection to the Alaska Chiropractors began in the late 80s, when he attended the Alaska Chiropractic Society convention for many years. Since that time, he has attended almost all of them, finding them a valuable way of gaining more insight into the demands of running a successful chiropractic practice and figuring out ways to help meet those needs as a vendor.
