Greg R Gillquist

Cornerstone Credit Services

Mr. Gillquist has been in the collection industry for thirty-seven years, beginning in 1987 as a collector, where he received training and firsthand knowledge of collection procedures. Within two years, he was promoted to District Marketing Manager, where he was responsible for designing and implementing the marketing strategy for that agency. Mr. Gillquist has attended American Collector’s Association seminars on sales and management. He is currently responsible for the marketing department at Cornerstone Credit Services, where he oversees marketing of new businesses, sales and customer service training, client retention, and the day-to-day functioning of client services. Mr. Gillquist assists businesses in analyzing and streamlining their current collection procedures, helping them to identify where losses occur, and prevent or control them where possible. In addition, he offers collection seminars and business communication seminars to help businesses’ staff become more knowledgeable and comfortable collecting their accounts receivable.

Mr. Gillquist is married and has five children and four grandchildren. He enjoys time with friends, family, and co-workers, and can frequently be found serving vanilla lattes and grilling brisket on his Traeger for guests. Little known fact: Mr. Gillquist has a passion for music that led him to join his brother, Peter, many years ago on the stage at the Performing Arts Center as the opening act for an alternative rock band, Jars of Clay, who came to Alaska in 1995. He continued his musical endeavors while his brother was still living in Alaska, and the two of them would visit clients each December, guitar in tow, and sing Christmas carols.

Mr. Gillquist’s connection to the Alaska Chiropractors began in the late 80s, when he attended the Alaska Chiropractic Society convention for many years. Since that time, he has attended almost all of them, finding them a valuable way of gaining more insight into the demands of running a successful chiropractic practice and figuring out ways to help meet those needs as a vendor.
